Parade Information
Join us Downtown for a festive celebration! Face painting will be available in the alley next to Fernson Brewing Co. on Phillips Avenue at 9AM, and our Food Truck Madness Festival (9:30AM-1:30PM) will feature numerous food trucks, live bands, dance group demonstrations, taiko drum demonstrations and additional entertainment sponsored by Experience Sioux Falls and First PREMIER Bank | PREMIER Bankcard.
The Food Truck Madness Festival will also feature a 10-foot tall Declaration of Independence (world's largest), a 10-foot tall Signers Page, and a 12-foot tall copy of the US Constitution.
The parade float judged "Best Parade Presentation" will receive a free dinner courtesy of Pizza Ranch.

When is the parade?
The parade is on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 10 AM.
Where is it held?
The parade will be held on Phillips Avenue from 13th St. to 6th St.; staging will be on 1st Avenue between 13th St. and 11th St.
How can I register my float?
Registration is now closed. Please reach out in 2027!
Is there an entry fee?
No, there is no entry fee.
Can I volunteer?
Yes, volunteers are welcome! Head to the Volunteer page.
Will food be available?
Yes! Local food truck vendors will be available in the Raven parking lot on 6th St. & Phillips Avenue (9:30AM-1:30PM).

T-shirt orders are now closed for this year. Check back in 2027!
Is there handicap-accessible parking available?
Yes; ADA parking is available in the Experience Sioux Falls lot near 8th St. and Phillips Avenue.
When do the roads close?
The staging area closes at 8AM, and Phillips Ave closes at 9:15AM.
Are bathrooms available?
Mobile restrooms will be available along the parade route via our sponsor Prairie Dog Porta Potty.
